Celebrate the closing of exhibition Between Frames: The Magic Behind Stop Motion Animation with a lineup of events featuring the creators of Robot Chicken and the founders of Stoopid Buddy Stoodios! Join the team comprised of Seth Green (creator), Matthew Senreich (creator), John Harvatine IV (owner), Eric Towner (owner), and Alex Kamer (animation supervisor) for an after hours party, programs, and a workshop, exclusive to The Walt Disney Family Museum the last weekend of April.

Don't miss your last chance to see our first major exhibition Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Creation of a Classic and special exhibition Between Frames: The Magic Behind Stop Motion Animation. Also, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios—think Robot Chicken—will be helping us close our special stop motion animation exhibition.

The Walt Disney Family Museum is pleased to present the exhibition Camille Rose Garcia: Down the Rabbit Hole. On view from May 9 to November 3, 2013, the exhibition features some 40 works by Garcia alongside seven Alice in Wonderland concept paintings by Disney artist Mary Blair from the Museum’s collection.

From May 23 to July 7, 2013, The Walt Disney Family Museum presents the special exhibition Maurice Sendak: 50 Years, 50 Works, 50 Reasons, featuring 50 works by the legendary author and illustrator, accompanied by 50 statements from celebrities, authors, and noted personalities on the influence of Sendak’s work, all in celebration the 50th anniversary of his universally revered book, Where the Wild Things Are.

The Walt Disney Family Museum celebrates the 2013 Academy Awards season with recently compiled fun facts about the legendary Oscars and Walt Disney. Twenty-six of these famed Awards are on view at the Museum including the celebrated Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Oscar which is on exhibit through April 14, 2013 in the special exhibition, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Creation of a Classic.

On February 14, 2013 from 7 to 10pm, The Walt Disney Family Museum presents Animate Your Night: Some Day My Prince Will Come—a Museum-wide Valentine’s Day soiree. Be our Valentine at a special love-laden Animate Your Night after-hours party! Join us for an evening of adoration, animation, and inspiration. Experience the galleries in a whole new light and search for love with a special Valentine scavenger hunt. Illuminate your heart with Disney love-themed shorts on the big screen, and sip our signature cocktail—the Prince Charming.
