Before celluloid animation came into vogue, the dominant form of animation was stop motion. Join us for this two-week class in which you learn the basics of armature building. After focusing on facial features, hair, texture, and clothing, students will build their own wire stop motion puppet and experiment with animation.

All materials will be provided by the instructors. This course is intended for students interested in design and physical construction. Students will only animate the second week of the class with various animation tests.
